Marigold Sprouting!

I planted these Marigold seeds two days ago, on Saturday morning. (First time planting Marigold, quite amused when I saw what the "seeds" look like.)

Super surprised and happy to see them sprouting this morning. I could hardly believe my eyes! (Esp since I have an eye infection, so I almost missed it while watering)

My newly sprouted Marigolds in the mini farm.

The main actor in this part of the farm being the tomatoes. I am planting basil and marigold by the side as companion plants cuz apparently these plants help tomatoes grow better.

Compare the difference in growth between the seeds that were sowed in the open (full and direct sunlight) compared with the seeds sowed in a pot that is left in a bright and shady place.

Some seeds (like chilli) do better in a bright and shady place, but from what I've learnt recently, not tomatoes, and not marigolds either.
